In 2012, Don Levy gave a talk on principles behind visual effects and their evolution over the history of cinema at the TED Conference in Long Beach, California. He also delivered a keynote talks at the 2012 AlwaysOn OnHollywood conference in Santa Monica (see below) and for ToonBoom Animation at Siggraph 2012. He is currently planning a track at the German FMX conference in April and the Digital Hollywood Conference this Spring.
